"FACES" hit the Top 50 Jazzweek Chart
The title cut was written by the great Arthur Hamilton
(Cry Me A River) and Ron Anthony (It's Always 4AM)
My South Africa concerts were spectacular.
Mary Stallings and I had 2 fantastic concerts with Orchestra
and Big Band. Thank you Jazz Foundation! Thank you also
to Mike
Greensill and Michael
Moricz for their gorgeous orchestral arrangements.
I was fortunate to be able to spend time in Soweto, and
traveled to the township that's been in the news lately
- Alexandra. This was my third trip to South Africa, and
in a variety of ways, seeing and experiencing the various
townships was life-altering.

Free Noon Concert

San Francisco
with Guitarist Brad Buethe
This month, I'm recording my new CD of all Duo works.
Voice and Bouzouki, guitar, accordian, piano, cello. The
concept is inspired by my former father-in-law and chef
Harry Bellesis, who always said about cooking, "you
use good ingredients, you gonna have good food." Hopefully
I'll come close to achieving this.
